What is the Social Media Professional Program?

The Social Media Professional Program is a training program built with the help of the world’s brightest minds in the field, with the goal of producing influential and creative individuals who are qualified to lead the media and digital content sector.

The program will run for 8 weeks. Students will attend live training sessions with their instructors to receive the marketing brief from their instructors and discuss how they will run the campaigns each week. Students will work within groups and together they will plan and execute real marketing campaigns for some of the biggest brands.

What you will learn

Strategy  Building a cross-channel digital strategy that would drive business success. Select channels and tactics for audience and marketing objectives.

Social Media  Build campaigns based on objectives. Learn to optimize campaigns through various tactics and optimization techniques. Students will be running real advertising campaigns on channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat. Students are also expected to develop the creative and develop a clear customer journey.

Digital Advertising How to optimize campaigns and reach the right audience on platforms like Google and facebook. Build retargeting campaigns that would drive better conversions for your business.

Search Advertising Structure campaigns and write paid search ads. Apply target keywords to your campaigns. Optimize the bidding for campaigns and structure the paid search ads campaign.

Content Marketing Develop content that would live along the customer journey and drive users closer to the end of the funnel. Identify opportunities for search engine optimization. Conduct keyword research and evaluate keywords for intent and competitiveness.

Email Marketing Design email automations that would drive business impact. Students will design the content of the emails as well as the email journey and the strategy of how to segment the audience.

Analytics Get familiar with essential features and functions of Google Analytics. Build dashboards and reports that would help identify insights of the campaign. Users will analyze data to compare the performance of the channels they used in their campaign.

 

Prerequisites

Students applying for the program must demonstrate their theoretical knowledge in digital marketing. Students are expected to pass an entrance exam that will test their knowledge and understanding of digital marketing. Students can skip the exam if they carry the DMI certification.
